The Camel Estuary, Padstow — more than just a beautiful view.
Estuaries like this are vital nurseries for marine life. Around 70% of commercial seafood species depend on estuaries at some point in their life cycle. Calm, sheltered waters give young fish a safe place to grow before heading out to sea. Without healthy estuaries, our oceans would look very different.
Protecting places like the Camel Estuary means protecting biodiversity, local livelihoods, and the future of our seas.
