Research, study and the advancement of our scientific knowledge are essential if we are going to even get close to resolving some of the impacts that human activity is having on ocean ecosystems and biodiversity. At Just One Ocean we believe in this principle to the extent that we not only undertake our own research we also support others doing the same. Our research collaboration with the University of Portsmouth has led to us producing a number of abstracts on citizen science and microplastic surveys. These have been submitted to the Citizen Science Association meeting in North Carolina in March 2019 as well as the European Geoscience Union General Assembly in Austria in April 2019.
We are delighted to announce that all three abstracts have been accepted. We are honoured to have this opportunity and look forward to telling you all about it in due course.
